Local tools
The quantity calculator, XML tool and questionnaire work locally in your browser tab. There are no accounts, form submissions or application backend. Application code uses neither localStorage nor sessionStorage; current tests found no cookies set by the application. Entries stay in tab memory and are cleared on reload. Downloads and deliberately copied data may remain on your device.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare hosts this static website through Cloudflare Pages. Loading it sends technical requests to Cloudflare; local tool processing does not mean that Cloudflare processes no IP addresses. The website uses no website analytics or Zaraz. There are no Pages Functions or custom Workers, and no externally embedded fonts or additional third-party CDNs for scripts, styles or other resources. External links are contacted only when you open them; the destination provider’s privacy information then applies.
Technical processing by Cloudflare
Updated: 1 October 2026. These details describe the verified static configuration. Browser observations do not provide a complete view of Cloudflare’s server-side processing.
- Hosting and delivery
- Cloudflare is the hosting and delivery provider. Cloudflare Pages serves the HTML pages and local application files over HTTPS.
- Server / access logs and actual configuration
- Cloudflare processes technical request and connection data to provide and secure its services. The absence of visible analytics calls does not establish that no access or security data is processed.
- Categories of data processed
- This may include IP addresses, requested URLs, request and traffic routing data, system configuration information and similar connection metadata. Application code does not send tool inputs to Cloudflare or a backend.
- Processing purposes
- Technical data supports website delivery, availability and security, including detecting and preventing abuse and attacks.
- Proposed legal basis
- For the necessary delivery and security processing, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR is the proposed basis where the GDPR applies. The legitimate interest is providing a reliable, secure service; the interests and fundamental rights of affected individuals must also be considered.
- Retention and deletion periods
- An exact retention period for Cloudflare’s technical request or server logs has not been verified for this project. Cloudflare’s privacy policy ties retention to the processing purpose and legal obligations. Relevant criteria include the nature and sensitivity of the data and the time required for delivery, security and legal obligations; no fixed number of days is promised.
- Processors and sub-processors
- Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum (DPA) covers processing on behalf of customers where Cloudflare acts as a processor, including its use of sub-processors. Cloudflare also describes a controller role for certain service metadata. Its current sub-processor list is linked below.
- International data transfers and recipient countries
- Cloudflare may process customer and end-user metadata internationally, including in the United States and other countries outside the EU or EEA. Processing exclusively in Germany or the EU is not promised.
- Transfer safeguards / protective measures
- Cloudflare’s current DPA contains international-transfer provisions, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and additional safeguards for the transfers they cover. The applicable safeguards depend on the specific transfer and contractual framework.
Network error reports (NEL)
Cloudflare responses currently include NEL and Report-To headers even though NEL is disabled in the zone settings. Compatible browsers may send technical network-error reports to Cloudflare if a network failure occurs.
According to Cloudflare’s NEL documentation, reports may contain network-condition information. The client IP address is processed transiently for the report request; Cloudflare states that it is discarded after processing and is not logged in the NEL pipeline. Cloudflare Network Error Logging
Your data protection rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. Data portability applies particularly to automated processing based on consent or a contract. You may withdraw any consent you have given for future processing without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can use the contact address above to exercise these rights.
Right to object: You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You also have the right to complain to a competent EU data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. No single authority is named here as exclusively competent.
Email contact
A mailto link opens your email application; it is not a website form submission. If you email us, we process your email address and message to answer your enquiry. Where the GDPR applies, the proposed basis is the legitimate interest in handling enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention depends on the time needed to handle the enquiry and any legal retention obligations.
